Restoration progress

The Restoration begins!

Alot of working going on lately, A minor repair job has blown out to become a full external restoration.

It has lost its bunnie for the time being, The panel above the engine door will need to be replaced due to rust.

This is a number 3 box that I made from a side desto from a mrk2, This is half finished. needs a new face plate to cover "hay street" and a quick paint to make it pretty!
Ofcourse if I have a number 3 box, I need a window to display it! Showing the new number 3 window.

Also congradulations to a good mate of mine in his purches to preserve mrk4 2843, When not working on mine I have been working in his to get it on the road! A very good buy indeed! its in great condition!

UPDATE!

Well it has been over 14 months it has been so much has happend also so much is happening over the next month! The photos tell the story!
2716 made its annual visit to the AMRA model rail expo at liverpool.

2716 was volunteered to help out a mate as part of the sydney fringe festival.

There was not enough room for my family in my car so I took the bus to putt putt.
On the way to putt putt we stopped for lunch at west Ryde, Also crossed a tango mrk 2.
 This is the air bag leveling valve, it gave me some problems!
